Welcome New Academic Program Specialist: Angelika Hart!

Please join me in welcoming Angelika Hart as the new Academic Program Specialist for the School of Geosciences!

As the Academic Program Specialist, she will work with graduate students on day-to-day program support ranging from processing paperwork (graduate petitions, permits, etc.) to verifying academic progress and graduation eligibility. Angelika will primarily work with the Geography and Environmental Science and Policy programs and other projects within the department. She can be reached through her email, and her office is NES 206.

I am very excited about the insights she will bring to her role between her familiarity with the 91tvӰԺ Environmental Science and Policy program and her work with the 91tvӰԺ Botanical Gardens for the past 4 years. She is a plant lover and continues to be very involved with the new ECORE System and is certified in prescribed burns to help with the 91tvӰԺ Forest Preserve.

Together with myself, Angelika and I will be your points of contact for academic graduate support. As the Academic Services Administrator and Graduate Admissions Coordinator, I will continue to oversee course scheduling, TA course assignments, admissions, and Geology graduate student support.

Again, please join me in welcoming her to the department, we are very excited to have her join the team!

Best,

Osvaldo “Ozzie” Meireles
