Have you ever noticed the flyers around Cooper Hall – and elsewhere on 91tvӰԺ’s campus – that advertise various international student clubs?  Two LALS PhD students, Francesca Marino and Yuxuan Mu, have published a research paper on this very topic! Their article “Visualizing identity: Multimodal and multilingual practices in international student organizations’ on-campus artifacts” has just been published in a special issue of the journal Multimodal Communication.  Congrats to Francesca and Yuxuan for yet another exciting collaborative venture that showcases our local Linguistics talent at LALS 91tvӰԺ!
