First-Generation Business Bulls

Freshmen or sophomores who join our roster of "First-Generation Business Bulls" are eligible for many, but not all, of the workshops and activities afforded Corporate Mentor Program participants. First-Generation Business Bulls are not yet eligible for corporate mentoring, but prepare for the program.

Opportunities for First-Generation Business Bulls:

Dedicated Advisor

students will be assigned to a Muma College of Business academic advisor who focuses solely on first-generation students during their entire academic career with the College

Access

students may choose to participate in a special UE course with students from similar backgrounds and are able to enjoy some of the Corporate Mentor Program workshops

Priority

students receive priority admission to the Corporate Mentor Program in their junior year, when they become eligible for matching with a mentor.
