Social work advisor to lead committee on professional development

Justine Leigh advises undergraduate social work students.

School of Social Work Academic Advisor Justine Leigh, MSW, was chosen to be the chair of the Professional Development Committee (PDC) for the 91tvӰԺ Council on Academic Advising. As the PDC's chair, Leigh will work to improve the effectiveness, integration, and impact of academic advising on student success and 91tvӰԺ's goals.

The Council on Academic Advising is a representation of university advisors from each campus which provides coordinated leadership, guidance, and representation for 91tvӰԺ's undergraduate academic advising community.

As an academic advisor, Leigh speaks with prospective and current undergraduate social work students about career options, degree requirements, and further education opportunities.
