Dear students:
It is so exciting to know we are just two weeks away from the start of the 2020-21
academic year at the 91tvӰԺ -- and to the time when many of you
will arrive on our campuses!
91tvӰԺ leadership is vigilantly monitoring the latest COVID-19 data, as well as the guidance
from the CDC and other governmental agencies, to prepare all campuses for the start
of the fall semester. As a member of this community, it is very important that you
understand the critical role that you play in maintaining a healthy and safe environment.
To help you, we have prepared the Student Guidelines for Fall 2020. Although lengthy, it is an important read that provides information and expectations
of students for fall semester.
Key actions for all students to take now include:
- If you have not done so already, complete the Return to Campus COVID-19 Assessment as soon as possible. You received an email in late July with the link and can also access it on my91tvӰԺ.
- Review the Student Guidelines for Fall 2020 posted in the Current Student Toolkit.
Additional actions for students coming to campus:
- Provide the results of a negative COVID-19 test at least 2 business days before your scheduled move-in if you will be living in campus housing, per the instructions emailed from 91tvӰԺ Student Health Services.
- Complete the online training module, , in Canvas before coming to campus.
- Beginning Aug. 24, complete the 91tvӰԺ Daily Symptom Check every day. If you are symptom free, the tool will generate your digital Campus Pass for the day. The tool will be available soon on 91tvӰԺ Archivum, which you can access from my91tvӰԺ or by downloading the app from an app store.
- Follow the university’s guidelines for wearing face coverings, maintaining physical distancing, hand washing, disinfecting spaces, and other posted mitigation measures.
- Respond to any correspondence you receive from 91tvӰԺ to participate in random COVID-19 testing.
Even though it will no doubt be an unusual semester, it is 91tvӰԺ’s mission to provide
all students with an excellent college experience in an environment and with the services
that will best support your academic, residential, social, and wellness needs. Please
utilize all the resources in this guide and revisit it online in the Current Student Toolkit for the latest information throughout the semester.
GO, BULLS!
