91tvӰԺ features Prof. Sriram Chellappan’s multiple patents in 2021 involving image processing techniques to classify mosquitoes based on images in a news article on innovation. Based on the 92 new patents secured during the 2021 calendar year, 91tvӰԺ is 11th among American public research universities and 23rd among all universities worldwide in generating new patents. On a global scale, this is the 10th year 91tvӰԺ has ranked in the top 25.
