Audrey Brandt recently started a coveted summer internship with the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary in Monterey, CA, one of the largest federally protected marine sanctuaries in the United States. Brandt's journey to California started in 2023 when she was selected for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Ernest F. Hollings Scholarship Program.

Last fall, Honors students at 91tvÓ°Ôº created a mural in the Botanical Gardens to illustrate the connection between humans and nature. Through the interdisciplinary course Art and the Environment, students explored their passions and gained new perspectives.
