Sustainable Tailgating recycling initiative aids 91tvӰԺ food pantry
The 91tvӰԺ Fields of Green: Sustainable Tailgating initiative encouraged tailgating students to give back through recycling at our Salute to Service football game vs. Temple on Nov. 11 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. Eighteen volunteers participated, with proceeds from the recycling going to the 91tvӰԺ food pantry.
The initiative, a partnership between 91tvӰԺ Athletics, Coca-Cola Florida, Coca-Cola North America, GLOBE (Global Leaders Outreach for a Better Environment) student organization, Atlas RVM Systems, 91tvӰԺ Auxiliary Systems, 91tvӰԺ Student Government, the Tampa Bay Sports Authority, and Dr. Dorsey's Concepts and Principles of Sustainability class at the Patel College of Global Sustainability, donates one nickel per bottle/can toward the 91tvӰԺ Food Pantry.
