Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

Language in which I conduct therapy: English

My approach to therapy: I am a Black and Hispanic, cisgender, heterosexual woman who was raised in the vibrant California Bay Area prior to making Tampa Bay my new home. My passion lies in providing compassionate, culturally sensitive care that respects and responds to the unique needs of individuals. I believe that everyone deserves a therapeutic space that empowers them to overcome psychological barriers and foster self-awareness.

My approach to therapy is deeply collaborative. I strive to help students embrace their authentic selves, both within and beyond the therapeutic setting. I am especially passionate about working with underserved and marginalized youth, supporting those facing interpersonal and family relationship challenges, navigating traumatic experiences, and adjusting to life’s transitions.

In my practice, I utilize evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy
(CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, all grounded in a client-centered and humanistic
approach. My goal is to empower students to reach their fullest potential by providing the
support and guidance they need to thrive.

My approach to supervision: My goal as a supervisor is to foster autonomy and confidence within the professional identity of my supervisees. I take a collaborative approach, integrating cultural awareness and emphasizing self-reflection to support supervisees in expanding their skills as developing clinicians.

A Fun Fact: I am a MAJOR foodie and enjoy trying new foods from various cultures. I also
LOVE event planning & décor.
