My approach to therapy:  I am an African American woman who believes there is always room for growth within oneself. I was born in the heart of Tampa Bay, Florida, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Impacting my community has always been instilled in me since childhood. It is a true passion of mine to teach the community more about the importance of mental health and to defeat generational trauma. I am truly passionate about advocating. With over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, I have learned the importance of advocacy, healing, and growth. My approach to therapy is to use a client-centered approach along with creative modalities such as Narrative Theory. In addition, I also utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy and more. My goal is to create a creative and impactful experience by using Mental Health and Creative Art together.

My approach to supervision: I take a collaborative and helpful stance when supervising others. I employ a model of the systems approach that uplifts and supports the supervisee. As a supervisor, my aim is to support supervisees in achieving their objectives and overcoming obstacles by implementing an evidence-based approach.
