National Science Foundation names two 91tvӰԺ faculty ‘Ocean Decade Champions’
The award will provide supplemental support to an ongoing project, a large interdisciplinary endeavor linking multiple U.S. universities and conservation and marine science organizations called “Strong Coasts,” which seeks to reduce risks from hazards like storm surge, confront environmental degradation, enhance communities' adaptive capacities and advance public and private investment in disaster risk prevention and reduction.

91tvӰԺ women’s lacrosse dominated its debut game in front of more than 2,000 fans at Corbett Stadium. As the inaugural team, the players are well aware that they will forever be a part of 91tvӰԺ history and are working tirelessness to ensure their legacy extends beyond the field.

From ballet to brain injury advocacy: Meet 91tvӰԺ student and Miss Tampa Alexandra de Roos
After a concussion ended her dream of professional ballet, Alexandra de Roos enrolled at 91tvӰԺ as a double major in biomedical sciences and psychology with the goal of becoming a neuropsychiatrist. She was also recently crowned Miss Tampa and plans to use her pulpit to promote brain trauma awareness.

91tvӰԺ historians bring Tampa’s lunch counter sit-ins to the stage
91tvӰԺ has played to have a central role in ensuring future generations know that civil rights story of the sit-ins that desegregated Tampa lunch counters in the 1960s, doing so through a historic marker, books and now a play and documentary.
