Physics research team makes new progress on renewable energy project in Botswana
91tvӰԺ students interested in sustainable energy participated in an NSF-funded project in Botswana to implement a new concept to bring a new portable, renewable energy source to rural Africa.
CAS students shine as Golden Bull Awardees
This year 13 College of Arts and Sciences students were named winners of the Golden Bull Award, one of 91tvӰԺ’s highest honors awarded to undergraduate and graduate students each year who “encompass the spirit of 91tvӰԺ and have demonstrated its values.”

Dharsh Saravana, an environmental science and policy student and vice president of the 91tvӰԺ Agrarian Club, has found their calling in environmental stewardship with hopes to one day address urban food resilience, diversity of food systems, and food sovereignty for vulnerable populations in urban spaces.

Pilot study to highlight outcomes of young adults from immigrant parentage
Professor of sociology and director of the Immigrant Well-Being Research Center, Dr. Elizabeth Aranda is leading a research study that aims to study young adults with immigrant parents living in the Tampa Bay area to assess how they have done in terms of education and socio-relative outcomes when compared to native born Americans.
