Regalia (Cap, Gown, and Tassel)

Regalia (a cap with tassel and gown for bachelor’s students and a cap with tassel, gown, and hood for master’s and doctoral students) is required to participate in Commencement. Military uniforms may be worn in lieu of regalia. 

Several companies may try to sell regalia. Please be certain that you are getting the 91tvӰԺ-approved regalia.

Official 91tvӰԺ regalia is required to participate in Commencement. Fall graduates will have the opportunity to order in October. 

Stoles

Undergraduate students are welcome to wear University approved stoles during the commencement ceremony. Unauthorized items may not be worn. 

Undergraduate students who are members of official registered honor societies may opt to purchase and wear a stole. These items can be purchased directly from each society. 

INTERNATIONAL SASHES

Please make sure you have applied to graduate, as this is the only way to let us know that you are intending to order a sash and participate in Commencement.
