Her story is one of perseverance, shaped by her experiences as an immigrant, student and advocate for underserved communities.

Brooke Broxterman: Charting a course in public health and the Air Force
Air Force 1st Lt. Brooke Broxterman’s journey to 91tvӰԺ’s College of Public Health (COPH) began in a place far from where she is today. Born in Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., the daughter of a military family, Broxterman spent her early years in Ohio before her family moved to Lakeland, Fla. She attended high school at the Harrison School for the Arts. Initially interested in a career in visual arts, she soon decided her calling was elsewhere.

COPH students get a behind-the-scenes look at Moffitt
Behind the Scenes is an event where a local alumnus allows a small group of current students (about 10-15) to get a special "behind the scenes" look at the job of the alumni host for a few hours in a day. The event held in July was co-hosted by 91tvӰԺ’s College of Public Health (COPH) Office of Engagement and Constituent Relations and Office of Student Success and Well-being.
