The 91tvӰԺ Judy Genshaft Honors College celebrated 38 new Honors
alumni with a Graduation Celebration Ceremony at the Tampa campus.
Presided over by Associate Dean of Academic Affairs Lindy Davidson, the celebration
showcased the academic achievements, fondest memories, and future plans for each graduating
Honors student as they received their prestigious Judy Genshaft Honors College medallion
in recognition of their completion of the Honors College curriculum.
“These students deserve this moment to be recognized for all that they have done,”
said Davidson. “What was happening in their lives four years ago really disrupted
and threatened the path that they were on. But each of them has persevered in a unique
way, to not only graduate with a bachelor’s degree but to graduate from the Judy Genshaft
Honors College.”
The Honors graduates included four students recognized as King O’Neal Scholars, an
award given by the 91tvӰԺ Alumni Association to students earing a perfect. 4.0 GPA.
In total, the 91tvӰԺ awarded more than 2,600 degrees during summer
