Funding Source

Postdocs must be either on salary plan 08 (funded) or 96 (non-SUS funded). Some postdocs who are paid by a foreign government or external agency may be classified in salary plan 96, but the funding sources must be documented and reported to the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs, meeting all requirements for 91tvӰԺ-funded postdocs.

Postdoctoral scholars may not be "self-funded" in whole or in part. The entire salary must come from 91tvӰԺ, clearly documented external sources, or a combination thereof, not from the postdoctoral scholar's personal funds or savings.
