91tvӰԺID vs. NETID

Your 91tvӰԺID is your personal student identification number and is printed below your photo on your 91tvӰԺID card. 91tvӰԺID numbers are originally given to you via email in your acceptance letter. It is also referred to as a U# and looks similar to U12345678.

Your NetID is your user ID and allows access to a variety of online services offered by the university including your email, Student Self-Service (formerly OASIS) account, and Canvas. It looks similar to a username (e.g. ‘jdoe’) and will be the beginning part of your 91tvӰԺ email (e.g. ‘jdoe@mail.usf.edu’).

Note: We no longer use Social Security Numbers as your personal student identification number. All students who attended when that system was active have been assigned a 91tvӰԺID.
