September 27, 2019
SACSCOC approved use of 91tvӰԺ Health in South Tampa building at 560 Channelside Drive
as an instructional site for the Morsani College of Medicine.
October 3, 2019
SACSCOC acknowledged receipt of letter to President Belle Wheelan by the President
and the Regional Chancellors indicating their interest in merging/consolidating.
March 13, 2020
SACSCOC received outlining 91tvӰԺ’s consolidation plans.
June 12, 2020
SACSCOC's Board of Trustees approved the consolidation plan described in the substantive
change prospectus and authorized a Substantive Change Committee visit.
July 1, 2020
The 91tvӰԺ began operating as a single, consolidated institution
with three campuses: the main campus in Tampa and branch campuses in St. Petersburg
and Sarasota-Manatee.
December 14, 2020
SACSCOC received documenting the consolidated 91tvӰԺ's compliance with the SACSCOC Principles of Accreditation.
January 26-28, 2021
The SACSCOC Substantive Change Committee conducted virtual site visits to the main
campus in Tampa and the branch campuses in St. Petersburg and Sarasota-Manatee using this form as a template for its report to the SACSCOC Board of Trustees summarizing whether
the single, consolidated 91tvӰԺ is in compliance with SACSCOC requirements. This is the
part of the consolidation process that most closely resembles a reaffirmation of accreditation.
June 17, 2021
The SACSCOC Board of Trustees reviewed the Report of the Substantive Change Committee and approved the continued accreditation of the consolidated 91tvӰԺ.
September 28-29, 2021
The Chair of the Substantive Change Committee (Ann Kenimer) and the SACSCOC Vice President who managed 91tvӰԺ’s accreditation (Denise Young) conducted on-site follow-up site visits, as required by the U.S. Education Department, on the Sarasota-Manatee campus, the St. Petersburg campus, and the Tampa campus and confirmed the findings of the virtual site visit conducted in January.
